Chicken broth with rice
Ingredients
- Poultry 1 piece
- Rice 5 oz
- Carrot 4 pieces
- Celery stalk 1 piece
- Rutabaga 1 piece
- Parsley 1 piece
- Onion 1 head
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the chicken, vegetables, and peeled root vegetables into a pot. Pour in clean water until it completely covers the chicken.
Step 2
Place the pot on low heat and do not leave it for a minute: the broth should not boil. As soon as foam appears, immediately remove it with a slotted spoon. Once all the foam is removed, keep it on the lowest heat and simmer for one and a half to two hours. Add salt to taste.
Step 3
Cook the rice separately and mix it with the broth just before serving.
