Chicken and Soy Sauce Risotto
Ingredients
- Rice 5 oz
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 15 oz
- Soy Sauce 5 fl oz
- Dry White Wine 5 fl oz
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Onion 1 piece
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken into small pieces. Mix with soy sauce and finely chopped garlic. Marinate for one hour.
Step 2
In a heated pan, add the meat to the oil. Fry until cooked through.
Step 3
Rinse the rice to remove any cloudy residue. Drain the water from the rice.
Step 4
Chop the onion and sauté it in the oil until it turns a deep brown color. Remove and discard the onion.
Step 5
Add the rice to the oil. Sauté for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Add the wine, simmer the rice in the wine while stirring until the wine evaporates.
Step 7
Add a cup of water or meat broth. Cook, stirring, over medium heat for 15 minutes, adding more water if necessary.
Step 8
Season the rice with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and let it sit for 10–15 minutes.
Step 9
Serve the rice on plates, top with chicken, and garnish with herbs.

By adding grated cheese and a piece of butter to the rice, we will make this dish more filling.
