Ingredients
- Marinated cherries 20 oz
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Sugar ½ cup
- Water 0 qt
- Chocolate eggs 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Divide the cherries intended for the soup in half. Remove the pits from one half, mash the other half, add the pits from the first half, pour in 4-5 cups of hot water, add sugar, bring to a boil, and strain.
Step 2
Prepare the dough as for dumplings, roll it out thinly, and cut out circles; place 1-2 pitted cherries on each circle and pinch the edges of the dough.
Step 3
Just before serving, place the dumplings in the hot cherry broth and cook for 5-10 minutes.
