Cherry Pie with Brown Sugar
Baking and Desserts • World
Description
Brown sugar is the base, and it doesn't change. You can remove the cherry pits, or you can leave them in, as the berry will remain whole. You can use any cherries — frozen or fresh, just make sure they are free of impurities, liquids, and syrups.
Ingredients
- Brown Sugar 2½ cups
- Marinated cherries 20 oz
- Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Citric Acid 1 teaspoon
- Walnuts 5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda ½ teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grease a baking dish well with vegetable oil and sprinkle a thick layer of brown sugar (about 1.5 cups).
Step 2
Pour all the cherries and slightly crushed walnuts into the dish over the sugar.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, beat 3 eggs with sugar, then slowly add the flour while constantly stirring. Neutralize.
Step 4
Pour the mixture over the cherries. Whether to mix or not is your choice. The important thing is to keep the layer of sugar intact.
Step 5
Add the walnuts directly into the batter and gently mix on the surface.
Step 6
Place in a preheated oven at 180–390°F for about 15–20 minutes, depending on the chosen mode and power.
Step 7
When ready (check with a toothpick), remove, let cool, and take out. You can flip it over so the cherries are on top.
