- Marinated cherries 0 lbs
- Sugar 25 oz

Step 1
Dissolve sugar in 500 ml of water in a heavy-bottomed pot, place it on the heat, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Immerse in the cherry syrup and cook for 1 hour, stirring frequently. To check for readiness, scoop out a bit of the jam, let it cool, then drop a bit on your fingers and squeeze: if your fingers stick together, the jam is ready.
Step 3
Transfer the jam into jars, let it cool, and seal with lids.
