Ingredients
- Marinated cherries 40 pieces
- Cinnamon 1 stick
- Amaretto Liqueur 8 teaspoons
- Red Grape Juice 15 fl oz
- Sugar 10 tablespoons
- Vanilla Ice Cream 15 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the wine, sugar, and cinnamon in a 1.5-liter pot and simmer covered over medium heat.
Step 2
Wash the cherries. Cook for 5 minutes in the hot spiced wine, then remove and continue to simmer the wine with the spices until it becomes syrupy.
Step 3
Place the cherries in dessert bowls.
Step 4
Strain the hot syrup.
Step 5
Top the cherries with a scoop of ice cream and drizzle with syrup and Amaretto.
