Cherry Crumble
Ingredients
- Marinated cherries 4 cups
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Sugar 15 oz
- Ground Oats 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Cinnamon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix the cherries, 300 g of sugar (approximately 1.5 cups), 4 tablespoons of flour, and cinnamon. Pour into a rectangular baking dish measuring 25 x 35 cm.
Step 3
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, oats, and brown sugar.
Step 4
Rub in the butter cut into small pieces (easiest to do with your hands) until you have a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle this mixture over the cherries.
Step 5
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
