
Cherry-Cottage Cheese Pie

Description
Canned cherries can be used.
Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 1½ kg
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Sugar 10 oz
- Semolina 3 tablespoons
- Vanillin 1 piece
- Pudding 1 piece
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Marinated cherries 5 oz
- Powdered Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in the microwave until soft, and grease the bottom and sides of the baking dish with it.
Step 2
Place the cottage cheese in a large bowl and whisk until it becomes airy.
Step 3
Then add sugar, semolina, vanillin, pudding powder, baking powder, and lemon juice to the bowl with the cottage cheese — whisk again.
Step 4
Spread half of the batter into the greased dish. Take the cherries and evenly distribute them around the perimeter of the batter in the dish.
Step 5
Spread the remaining batter over the first layer covered with berries.
Step 6
Place the dish in an oven preheated to 390°F and bake for 1 hour.
Step 7
Cool the finished pie and, before serving, sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
