Description
Attention — it's flourless! And just a reminder — you can make almond flour yourself. Place peeled almonds and a bit of coarse sugar (to prevent the almonds from turning into paste) in a blender, and grind until it becomes flour.
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Vanilla salt 1 tablespoon
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Almond 0 oz
- Corn Starch 0 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Fresh Berries 30 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with the sour cream.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, mix all the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, and cornstarch.
Step 3
Combine all the wet and dry ingredients.
Step 4
Grease the bottom of the baking dish with butter and dust it with flour. Gently tap the dish on the table a few times to remove any unwanted air.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 45–50 minutes. Remember — all ovens are different and temperamental. About 10 minutes before it's done, cover the pie with foil to prevent the crust from burning while ensuring it bakes perfectly.
Step 6
Serve warm, with ice cream or whipped cream!
