Description
For baking, use one large dish or several small ones.
Ingredients
- Butter 1½ tablespoons
- Milk 1¼ cups
- Cream ¼ cup
- Wheat Flour ¾ cup
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Sugar ½ cup
- Vanilla salt 1 tablespoon
- Marinated cherries 20 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 345°F.
Step 2
Pour the batter into the chosen dish so that it covers the bottom.
Step 3
Place the dish in the oven for a few minutes to let it set slightly.
Step 4
Remove the dish and layer the cherries on the bottom, then pour the remaining batter on top and return to the oven for 15–30 minutes (baking time depends on the size of the chosen dish). The cake should rise well, become firm, and brown.
Step 5
Sift some powdered sugar over the warm cake and serve.
