Description
Cheesecake with Philadelphia Cheese
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Milk 2 tablespoons
- Cocoa Powder 1 tablespoon
- Powdered Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Philadelphia Cheese 20 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
- Corn Starch 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla salt 1 tablespoon
- Citrus Zest Mix 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 345°F. Grease the pie dish with butter and dust with flour.
Step 2
In a large bowl, mix the flour and baking powder. Then add the butter, cocoa powder, sugar, and milk.
Step 3
Form the dough into a ball and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably in the freezer for one to two hours to make it as firm as possible for grating.
Step 4
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, egg yolks, lemon zest, vanilla sugar, and cornstarch. Beat for at least 2 minutes.
Step 5
In a separate container, whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form, but be careful not to overbeat to avoid collapsing.
Step 6
Fold the egg whites into the main mixture (cheese, etc.).
Step 7
Remove the dough from the refrigerator and divide it into 2 parts, grating one part.
Step 8
Spread the ungrated dough in the dish. Then evenly distribute the cheese filling. Top with a layer of grated dough.
Step 9
Bake for about 45–50 minutes. Let cool and serve.
