Cheese soup with smoked ribs
Ingredients
- Potato 2 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Onion 2 pieces
- Chicken Broth 25 fl oz
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Smoked pork knuckle 5 oz
- Green peppercorns to taste
- Bay leaf 0 oz
- Khmeli-suneli to taste
- Water 15 fl oz
- Sliced Processed Cheese 2 pieces
- Dill to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the potatoes and carrots in their skins, the onions peeled.
Step 2
Cool down. Peel and mash.
Step 3
Chop and add garlic to the puree.
Step 4
Mix with water and broth. Bring to a boil.
Step 5
Skim off any foam if necessary.
Step 6
Cut the cheese into cubes and add to the soup, stir. Add spices.
Step 7
Fry the ribs separately, then add to the soup.
Step 8
Turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and let sit for 10 minutes. Before serving, garnish with dill.
