Description

Cheese pastries filled with vanilla curd.

Ingredients

  • Milk 5 fl oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Chicken Egg 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 15 oz
  • Salt ½ spoons
  • Cottage cheese 20 oz
  • Sour Cream 5 oz
  • Vanilla salt 2 spoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the dough, warm the milk (it should not be too hot). Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and the yeast. Add 150 g of flour and mix well.

Step 2

Place the sponge in a warm spot (I pour hot water into a bowl and set the container with the sponge in it). Let the sponge rise well (this will take about 15 minutes).

Step 3

Combine the starter and eggs (2 pieces). Add the butter and mix well. Then, add the sugar (100 g) and salt, and mix again. Gradually incorporate the flour to knead the dough, and place it in a warm spot.

Step 4

Allow the dough to rise (this will take about 30 minutes). Punch down the dough, place it back in a warm spot, and let it rise again.

Step 5

For the filling, mix the cottage cheese with sugar (90 g) and vanilla sugar. Add the sour cream and stir well.

Step 6

Beat the egg.

Step 7

Grease the baking sheet with oil or line it with parchment paper.

Step 8

Shape the dough into small patties and place them on a baking sheet. Brush with egg.

Step 9

Make a small indentation in each flatbread. Fill with the filling.

Step 10

Place in a preheated oven at 355°F. Bake for 20–25 minutes.
