Ingredients
- 50% Fat 'Lambert' Cheese 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Prosciutto 5 oz
- Butter 0 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Cut the prosciutto into thin strips.
Step 2
In a bowl, whisk the egg, add the butter, baking powder, 2/3 of the grated cheese, salt, pepper, flour in portions, prosciutto, and knead the dough. Roll out to a thickness of 1 centimeter and use a cutter to cut out circles.
Step 3
Transfer the circles to a baking sheet, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, and bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 200°C.
Step 4
Sprinkle with fresh thyme and serve.
