Ingredients
- Cottage cheese 10 oz
- Cherry 10 oz
- Honey 0 oz
- Egg white 3 pieces
- Oat flakes 5 oz
- Water 8 tablespoons
- Olive Oil 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
First, prepare the base. To do this, grind the oat flakes in a coffee grinder.
Step 2
Mix them in a bowl with two egg whites and water. This will create a flexible dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes to allow the oats to swell slightly.
Step 3
After that, place the dough in a baking dish lightly greased with olive oil. Smooth it out carefully and form the edges. Prick the base all around with a fork to prevent bubbles from forming, and send it to a preheated oven at 345°F for 15 minutes.
Step 4
While the base is baking, melt the honey.
Step 5
Mix the frozen cherries with half of the honey. (If you are concerned that the cherries will release too much juice while baking, which is likely, it’s better to thaw them beforehand).
Step 6
In a separate bowl, mix the remaining honey with the egg white and cottage cheese.
Step 7
Once the base is ready, let it cool slightly, spread the cheese mixture on top, and distribute it evenly. Carefully place the cherries on top.
Step 8
Put the tart in the oven and bake for about half an hour at 345°F.
