Chebureki with Cabbage
Ingredients
- Water 15 fl oz
- Wheat Flour 6 cups
- Onion 2 pieces
- White Cabbage 0 lbs
- Carrot 2 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Dissolve salt in hot water, combine with sifted flour, and knead a stiff dough.
Step 2
Cover the dough with a towel or napkin and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
Step 3
Then roll it out thinly and cut out circles with a diameter of 15 cm.
Step 4
Finely chop the onion.
Step 5
Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
Step 6
Shred the cabbage thinly.
Step 7
Sauté the onion with the carrot, then add the cabbage and simmer until the cabbage is soft. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 8
Place the cabbage mixture on one half of the dough circle and cover with the other half, sealing the edges well to form a crescent-shaped pie.
Step 9
Fry the chebureki in vegetable oil on both sides until cooked through.
