Ingredients
- Cauliflower 1 head
- Cream 22% 5 fl oz
- Onion 1 head
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Bacon 5 oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Dill to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Break the cauliflower into florets.
Step 2
In a heavy-bottomed pot, sauté the finely chopped onion.
Step 3
Place the cauliflower on top and add enough water to completely cover the vegetables.
Step 4
Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes.
Step 5
Add salt.
Step 6
Stir in the hot cream.
Step 7
Sprinkle with ground pepper.
Step 8
Heat the soup with the cream for another 3–5 minutes.
Step 9
Remove from heat and blend until smooth.
Step 10
In a skillet, fry the finely chopped bacon.
Step 11
Serve the soup, adding the fried bacon and finely chopped dill.
