Casserole with Carrots and Chicken
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 1½ cups
- Butter 0 oz
- Chicken fillet 10 oz
- Cheese Spread 5 oz
- Natural Yogurt 5 oz
- Cottage cheese 5 oz
- Carrot 1 piece
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Potato protein 1 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the flour (sifted) and softened butter.
Step 2
Add yogurt and egg. Yogurt can be replaced with sour cream.
Step 3
Knead the dough, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
Step 4
Cut the chicken into cubes and fry for 3 minutes on each side.
Step 5
Grate the cheese and carrot (preferably not too coarsely).
Step 6
Mix the carrot, half of the cheese, 2 tablespoons of yogurt, cottage cheese, and starch.
Step 7
Line the bottom of the baking dish with parchment paper or simply grease it with oil.
Step 8
Form a basket from the dough (stretch with fingers on the bottom of the dish or roll out beforehand, whichever is easier), prick with a fork, and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 355°F.
Step 9
Remove the basket, sprinkle the bottom with cheese, layer the carrot mixture, press in the chicken, and top with cheese.
Step 10
Bake everything in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 355°F. The crust is optional.
Step 11
Let it sit to firm up the filling. I prefer to salt the dough and chicken.
