Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 4 pieces
- Safflower Oil 10 fl oz
- Brown Sugar 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 0 oz
- Carrot 0 qt
- Dates 5 oz
- Pecan 0 oz
- Ricotta cheese 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Vanilla extract 0 fl oz
- Powdered Sugar 20 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the eggs, oil, and sugar in a bowl and beat with a mixer.
Step 2
Sift the dry ingredients and add them to the egg mixture. Add grated carrot, chopped dates, and crushed nuts. Mix everything well using a wooden spoon.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 4
Grease a cake pan with butter.
Step 5
Transfer the batter to the pan and bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Step 6
Transfer the cake to a plate and let it cool.
Step 7
For the frosting, mix softened butter and ricotta. Add vanilla and powdered sugar. Spread the frosting on top of the cake and decorate with pecans.
