  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Salt a pinch
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Baking Powder ½ spoons
  • Ground Cinnamon ½ spoons
  • Carrot 10 oz
  • Oranges 1 piece
  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Vegetable Oil 5 fl oz
  • Activated Baking Soda 1 tablespoon
  • Powdered Sugar 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Grate the carrot. Sift the flour, then mix it with cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder. Next, combine half of the flour mixture with the grated carrot.

Step 2

Beat the sugar with vegetable oil, add one egg, a pinch of salt, and the remaining flour with cinnamon, then follow with the carrot mixture and the remaining egg.

Step 3

Pour the batter into a mold and bake at 340°F for twenty to thirty minutes.

Step 4

Grate the orange zest. Mix the powdered sugar with the orange juice, spread it over the finished carrot cake, and sprinkle with the orange zest.
