Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a mixer, combine olive oil, sugar, and cinnamon, and blend for 2 minutes. Add the egg and mix again.
Step 2
Grate the orange zest, add the orange juice to the blender, and set the zest aside for later.
Step 3
Combine the flour with the baking powder, sift it, and add it to the mixer, mixing again. Incorporate the grated carrot into the dough.
Step 4
Grease the baking dish with butter, pour in the batter, and place it in the preheated oven at 180°C for 40-45 minutes.
Step 5
Mix the powdered sugar with 20 ml of water and the zest. Brush this glaze over the finished pie.
