Carrot Cake with Cinnamon
Ingredients
- Turnips 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Cinnamon 1 tablespoon
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Chocolate 1 piece
- Safflower Oil 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix the eggs and sugar in a bowl. Whisk thoroughly with a fork or blender.
Step 2
Grate the carrots on a fine grater, add them, the flour, and cinnamon to the sugar and eggs. Mix until smooth.
Step 3
Grease the baking pan with sunflower oil. Pour the mixture into the pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 355°F.
Step 4
While the cake is baking, grate the chocolate on a fine grater.
Step 5
Spread sour cream on top of the cake and sprinkle with chocolate.
