Carrot Biscuit with Sour Cream Frosting
Ingredients
- Carrot 15 oz
- Sugar 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Egg white 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Vanillin a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash and peel the carrots. Grate them finely.
Step 2
Cream the softened butter with 250 grams of sugar. Reserve the remaining 100 grams for the sour cream frosting!
Step 3
Add the eggs and grated carrots to the butter. Mix well.
Step 4
Combine the flour with the baking powder and vanillin, gradually adding it to the mixture. Knead the dough.
Step 5
Grease a baking pan with vegetable oil and pour the dough into it.
Step 6
Place in a preheated oven at 355°F for 30–35 minutes.
Step 7
Meanwhile, prepare the frosting. Mix the sour cream with sugar and vanillin (optional, a pinch). It is preferable to whip it with a mixer.
Step 8
Remove the finished biscuit, let it cool. Cut it in half lengthwise and spread the frosting in between, or simply drizzle it on top. Let it rest.
