Carmelita Cake
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 2 cups
- Oat flakes 2 cups
- Sugar 0.8 cups
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Salt ½ gram
- Butter 5 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
- Cream 5 fl oz
- Honey 1 teaspoon
- Nuts 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide

For the base:

2 cups of quick-cooking oats, 2 cups of flour, 2/3 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, 200 grams of butter

For the caramel:

150 grams of dark chocolate, 150 milliliters of cream, 1 teaspoon of honey, 50 grams of sugar, 150 grams of chopped nuts
Step 5
Preparation: Mix the oats and sugar.
Step 6
Add the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 7
In the resulting mixture, add the melted butter.
Step 8
Thoroughly mix all ingredients.
Step 9
Line the baking pan with parchment paper.
Step 10
Heat the cream over low heat and add pieces of chocolate.
Step 11
Stir, then add honey and sugar.
Step 12
Add the chopped nuts.
Step 13
The chocolate should completely melt, and the caramel should become homogeneous but thick.
Step 14
Place 2/3 of the base mixture at the bottom of the pan. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 170°C (340°F). Spread the prepared caramel over this layer.

Sprinkle the remaining 1/3 of the dough on top and bake the cake in the oven for 30 minutes at 170°C (340°F).

Cut the finished cake into portioned pieces and enjoy :)
