Cardinal Peaches
Ingredients
- Donut Peaches 4 pieces
- Raspberry leaves 10 oz
- Powdered Sugar 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
If the peaches are very ripe, place them in a bowl and pour boiling water over them. Leave for 1 minute, dry them off, and carefully remove the skin. If the peaches are not very ripe, add 2 tablespoons of sugar to a pot of water, place the peaches in, and cover with a lid. Cook for 5-10 minutes until soft. Dry and peel them.
Step 2
Let the peaches cool, cut them in half, and remove the pits. Place 2 halves on serving plates. Put the raspberries in a blender and puree them. Strain through a nylon sieve to remove the seeds.
Step 3
Sift the powdered sugar over the raspberry puree and mix. Drizzle over the peaches, cover, and chill. Dust with powdered sugar on top.
