- Macadamia Nuts 10 oz
- Maple syrup ¼ cup
- Toasted Cumin Seeds 1½ teaspoons
- Ocean salt 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper ½ teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil. Lightly grease a sheet of foil with oil.
Step 2
In a small bowl, combine the nuts with maple syrup, cumin, salt, and cayenne pepper. Spread in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 3
Bake the nuts for about 20 minutes, stirring, until golden and caramelized. Quickly transfer the nuts to the foil and spread them out. Cool for 10 minutes and break into pieces. Let cool.
