Description

Since the caramel is very hot, you need to be careful when stirring the bananas and not leave them in the water for too long, or else the caramel will dissolve. Instead of chocolate and cranberry sauce, you can use any other sauce; however, they are also great without any sauce.

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Bananas 2 pieces
  • Sugar 2 spoons
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Toasted Sesame 1 tablespoon
  • Chocolate Sauce 0 fl oz
  • Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
  • Cranberry 0 fl oz
  • Baking Powder 0 oz
  • Orange juice concentrate 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

For the batter, combine the juice with the egg yolk, stirring continuously, then gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing well. Gently fold in the beaten egg white.

Step 2

Lightly toast the sesame seeds.

Step 3

Cut the peeled bananas into pieces about 1.5–2 cm long, dip them in batter, and fry in a large amount of vegetable oil. Remove the bananas and let them drain excess fat.

Step 4

Caramelize sugar in a pan with butter, then add sesame seeds. Place the bananas into the caramel mixture, stirring well to ensure the caramel evenly coats the bananas. Next, carefully remove the bananas one by one using a fork or silicone spatula, dip them in ice water, and immediately place them on a plate.

Step 5

Garnish with sauce when serving.
