- Sugar 5 oz
- Water 5 fl oz

Step 1
In a small saucepan, add the sugar and pour the water over it (the ratio of water to sugar should be one to one).
Step 2
Wait for 10 minutes without stirring or touching it.
Step 3
After 10 minutes, pay close attention until the mixture seems to thicken. You can check this by dropping a small amount onto a spoon or into water. Otherwise, you may overcook it, and the honey will turn back into sugar, but you can avoid this by transferring the honey to a bowl and placing it in the freezer for a few minutes to halt its transformation into sugar.
