
Caramel Orange Jam

Description
In a pre-sterilized jar, the jam has a better chance of living long and happily. Perfect with pancakes. Strictly contraindicated for those on a diet.
Ingredients
- Oranges 4 pieces
- Sugar 25 oz
- Ginger to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the oranges into pieces, removing the white pith and seeds.
Step 2
Mix the sugar and a glass of water, and place it on the stove.
Step 3
Once the water with sugar boils, add the oranges. Bring to a boil and turn off the heat - let it cool.
Step 4
Repeat the boiling process with the sauce two more times, and on the third time, make sure that the mixture thickens and darkens a bit... if the desired consistency is achieved by the second time, do not follow this advice and confidently finish earlier.
Step 5
Peel the orange zest, avoiding the white pith, and soak it in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Add the chopped fresh ginger and the zest to the jam and pour it into a pre-prepared bowl.
