Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 15 oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Vanilla salt 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
  • Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
  • Walnuts 5 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and walnuts.

Step 2

In another bowl, beat the eggs.

Step 3

Pour the eggs into the dry mixture (flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and walnuts). Knead the dough.

Step 4

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Divide the dough into 3–4 parts. Shape them into 'logs' with a diameter of 4 cm. Place them 4–5 cm apart.

Step 5

Bake in the oven for 25 minutes at 355°F.

Step 6

After baking, remove the 'logs' from the baking sheet. Let them cool for about 10 minutes.

Step 7

Once cooled, slice the 'logs' diagonally into pieces about 8 mm thick.

Step 8

Arrange the resulting cookies on a baking sheet so that they do not touch each other. Return to the oven for another 15–20 minutes.

Step 9

After baking, allow the cookies to cool completely. Store them in a glass jar or another airtight container to preserve their texture and aroma.
