  • Butter 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 15 oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Vanilla Pod 1 piece
  • Sugar 10 oz
  • Salt 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a large bowl, cream the softened butter with the sugar until smooth. Add the eggs to the mixture and stir well.

Step 2

Mix the flour with the dry yeast and salt, then add the mixture to a bowl with the eggs, butter, and sugar. Also incorporate the contents of the vanilla pod and lightly toasted almonds. Knead this into a firm dough. From the dough, shape thin sausages and place them on a baking sheet, which can be lined with parchment paper beforehand. Place the baking sheet in an oven preheated to 390°F for twenty minutes. Once ready, cut the sausages and let them dry a bit before serving.

Step 3

It's best to serve them alongside a dessert Muscat wine.
