Canned Fish Pâté
Snacks • French
Description
You can adjust the proportions of each type of fish to your taste. Actually, I take the most common size cans of each type of fish available in supermarkets. I also sometimes add a bit of capers. I tried using salmon, but it doesn't really add anything special to the recipe. Just spread it on bread.
Ingredients
- Canned tuna in its own juice 5 oz
- Sardines 5 oz
- Canned Mackerel in Oil 10 oz
- Ketchup 1 tablespoon
- 20% Sour Cream 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Drain the fish from the cans. Rinse with water to remove oil, sauce, etc.
Step 2
Place all ingredients in a blender. Lightly drizzle with lemon juice.
Step 3
Blend until you achieve a thick, homogeneous mass. Place the resulting mixture in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Step 4
Take it out of the refrigerator just before serving. If the pâté seems a bit dry, add more lemon juice and mix.
