- Oranges 1 piece
- Chocolate 5 oz
- Sugar 1 cup

First, remove the ends of the oranges.

Then, peel the oranges in strips from one cut end to the other.
Step 3
Boil the peels in boiling water for a few minutes, then drain the water and boil again. This is necessary to remove the bitterness.
Step 4
Next, make a syrup by mixing equal parts sugar and water and boil the peels in it for about an hour.
Step 5
Cool the peels on a rack to let the excess liquid drain off.
Step 6
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Step 7
Dip the candied peels in the chocolate (you can do this halfway or completely), place them on parchment paper, and wait for the chocolate to set.
