Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Oranges 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the sugar with the eggs until frothy.
Step 2
While continuing to beat, gradually add the flour.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 210°F.
Step 4
On a greased parchment paper, use a teaspoon to place the dough in round shapes, about 5–6 cm in diameter.
Step 5
Peel the skin from the lemon or orange, cut it into strips, and lightly simmer in water with sugar.
Step 6
Bake for about 3 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
Step 7
Quickly remove the cookies while they are hot. Place the lemon (or orange) strips on top and pinch the bottom to form a calla shape.
