Cake with Chocolate and Sour Cream Frosting
Ingredients
- Sugar 15 oz
- Egg white 6 pieces
- Chocolate 5 oz
- Sour Cream 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Activated Baking Soda 2 teaspoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix 3 egg whites with 200 g of sugar until frothy. Then add 1 teaspoon of baking soda, pour into a round baking pan, and bake for about 30 minutes. After that, let it cool.
Step 2
Repeat the same process for the second layer.
Step 3
For the frosting, melt the chocolate in a water bath for the dark frosting. Whip the sour cream with sugar for the light frosting.
Step 4
Place the first layer on a serving dish and generously spread the dark frosting on top, followed by the light frosting. Then place the second layer on top and also generously spread the dark frosting, then cover the sides of the cake with the same dark frosting. Pour the remaining light frosting on top of the cake and sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
