Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Butter 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Cognac 2 tablespoons
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda ¼ teaspoon
- Powdered Sugar 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the softened butter for 5–7 minutes, add the sugar and continue beating for another 15–20 minutes, gradually adding the eggs, salt, and cognac.
Step 2
Mix the flour with the baking soda, add it to the butter mixture, stir, and transfer the batter to a greased and floured baking pan.
Step 3
Bake for 25–30 minutes at a temperature of 205–420°F.
Step 4
Dust the cooled cake with powdered sugar.
