Cajun Cookies
Ingredients
- Cake Base 5 oz
- Mustard 1 teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper ¾ teaspoon
- Ground cayenne pepper ½ teaspoon
- Ground Dried Garlic ½ teaspoon
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Melted Butter 1 tablespoon
- Cookies 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 230°C (450°F).
Step 2
Combine the baking mix, mustard powder, ground pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder.
Step 3
Mix in the milk until a dough forms.
Step 4
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 2 cm thick.
Step 5
Using a 6 cm cookie cutter, cut out 6 cookies, re-rolling the scraps as needed.
Step 6
Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Step 7
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 8
Brush the tops with melted butter, serve warm, optionally with additional butter.
