  • Activated Baking Soda a pinch
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Salt to taste
  • White Cabbage 15 oz
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

First, prepare the filling. Rinse and dry the cabbage, then finely chop it. In a small amount of vegetable oil, sauté the cabbage until half-cooked, seasoning it with salt and pepper, and adding spices to your taste (for example, you can add caraway seeds).

Step 2

While the cabbage is frying, boil two eggs hard, let them cool, peel, and finely chop. Mix the cabbage with the chopped eggs. The filling is ready.

Step 3

To prepare the dough, mix melted butter, sour cream, baking soda, salt, and one egg in a deep bowl. Mix well and lightly beat. Then gradually add the flour to this mixture, stirring constantly. Knead the dough until a homogeneous mass is formed. The result should be a fairly liquid dough.

Step 4

Grease a medium-sized baking sheet with a small amount of oil. Preheat the oven to 390°F. Pour about half of the dough onto the baking sheet. Then spread the filling evenly over the dough. Pour the second half of the dough over the cabbage, trying to cover the entire filling. If it doesn't work out — don't worry: during baking, the dough will rise and cover the filling anyway. Bake the pie for 30–40 minutes until the dough is fully cooked.
