Ingredients
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Bacon 5 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Butternut Squash 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Black Cumin (Cumin) 0 oz
- Chicken Broth 30 fl oz
- Dessert Yogurt 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat the oil in a large pot, add the chopped bacon, and fry for 5 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer it to a plate.
Step 2
In the oil, add the finely chopped onion and cook for 5 minutes, then add the chopped squash and cook for another 10 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cumin and sauté for another 3 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in the broth and bring to a boil. Return half of the bacon to the pot, season with spices, and simmer for 20 minutes.
Step 4
Transfer everything to a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 5
Serve with a spoonful of yogurt, the remaining bacon, and cumin.
