Butter Cake with Raspberries
Ingredients
- Butter 10 oz
- Brown Sugar 10 oz
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Self-rising flour 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Powdered Sugar to taste
- Raspberry leaves to taste
- Whipped Cream to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
Grease a pie dish with butter and line it with parchment paper.
Step 3
Beat the softened butter with sugar using a mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add the eggs and beat well.
Step 4
Add the vanilla and beat again. Sift the flour and gradually mix it with the milk. Combine the ingredients and continue to beat until smooth. Pour the batter into the dish.
Step 5
Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Leave in the dish for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a plate. Dust with powdered sugar. Serve with raspberries and whipped cream.
