Ingredients
- Buttermilk 5 fl oz
- Dried cranberries with sugar 5 fl oz
- Baking Powder 5 oz
- Peanut Sprouts 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Cardamom 1 teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root ¾ teaspoon
- Ground Almonds 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, mix the buttermilk, berries, and vanilla.
Step 2
In another bowl, combine the flour, sprouts, brown sugar, cardamom, and ginger. Add the chopped butter and mix well with your hands. Add the almonds, then the buttermilk mixture, and knead well. Place on a floured surface and shape into a circle with a diameter of 20 cm. Cut into 8 equal segments and place on the baking sheet. Brush the tops with buttermilk and lightly sprinkle with sugar.
Step 3
Bake until done, about 25 minutes. Serve warm.
