Description

The dish is served as meat soaked in broth. A traditional Buryat dish. Optionally, you can add 3 potatoes.

Ingredients

  • Lamb 5 lbs
  • Onion 3 heads
  • Ground Black Pepper ¾ teaspoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Bay leaf to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a 5-liter pot, place the meat cut into portion-sized pieces.

Step 2

Cut the onion into halves or quarters. Add it to the pot as well.

Step 3

Pour in water, add salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer for 40–60 minutes on medium heat. Before removing from heat, add the bay leaf and pepper.
