Buckwheat Porridge with Eggs
Ingredients
- Water 25 fl oz
- Buckwheat Groats 10 oz
- Onion 2 heads
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Safflower Oil 5 fl oz
- Dried Chinese mushrooms 4 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sort the buckwheat. Pour water over it, add the crushed mushrooms, and place on high heat, covering with a lid.
Step 2
Once it boils, reduce the heat and cook for 10 minutes until it thickens.
Step 3
Further reduce the heat and cook on low for 5-7 minutes until all the water evaporates.
Step 4
Wrap the cooked porridge in a towel and let it sit for 15 minutes.
Step 5
In another pot, heat the oil, sauté the finely chopped onion, and add salt.
Step 6
Chop the boiled eggs finely and add them to the porridge along with the sautéed onion. Mix evenly.
