Step 1
Cream the butter with the sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating the mixture until smooth each time.

In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Gradually sift the dry ingredients into the butter and egg mixture.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 175–355°F.
Step 4
Pour the batter into a prepared baking dish and smooth it out with a spatula. Bake the brownies in the preheated oven for 20–35 minutes.
