Ingredients

  • Liquid dark chocolate 10 oz
  • Butter 10 oz
  • Raw cane sugar 5 oz
  • Powdered Sugar 10 oz
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 8 pieces
  • Pecan 5 oz
  • Water 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

In a saucepan, bring water with sugar to a boil.

Step 2

Cook the syrup for 5 minutes, add the nuts, stirring constantly.

Step 3

All the nuts should be coated in caramel.

Step 4

Spread them on a silicone mat or parchment paper, cool, and chop.

Step 5

Chop 100 g of chocolate with a knife.

Step 6

Melt the remaining chocolate with butter in a water bath.

Step 7

Whisk the eggs with powdered sugar and gently pour into the chocolate and butter mixture, add flour, a pinch of salt, the remaining chocolate, and nuts (set some aside for decoration).

Step 8

Pour into molds.

Step 9

Leave in the refrigerator for an hour, sprinkle with the remaining nuts.

Step 10

Bake in the oven at 320°F for 15–20 minutes.
