A very simple recipe that will help you succeed in your culinary endeavors.

Ingredients

  • Egg white 1 piece
  • Milk 0 fl oz
  • Dry yeast 0 oz
  • Wheat Flour 20 oz
  • Salt 0 oz
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Butter 10 oz
  • Gingerbread-flavored syrup to taste
  • Sugar Glaze to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the flour and dry yeast. Add sugar. Crack the egg into a bowl. Incorporate the flour mixture into the beaten egg. Add the butter. Knead the dough by hand until it starts to pull away from the sides of the bowl. Shape the dough into a ball. Leave it in a warm place for 1 hour to rise.

Step 2

Roll out the dough. Choose the thickness of the layer depending on the size of the roses you want to make.

Step 3

Spread a thin layer of custard cream over the surface of the dough.

Step 4

Roll the dough into a tight log.

Step 5

Cut the log crosswise into slices 2 cm thick. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 390°F until done.

Step 6

Cover the finished products with glaze (I used a store-bought packet of glaze).
