Ingredients

  • Stale Bread 5 oz
  • Milk 10 fl oz
  • Sugar 0 oz
  • Vanillin 0 oz
  • Grapefruits to taste
  • Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
  • Cinnamon to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mix the milk, eggs, sugar, vanillin, and cinnamon if desired.

Step 2

Place pieces of sliced bread tightly together at the bottom of a baking dish, pour part of the egg-milk mixture over it, then layer another set of bread pieces on top.

Step 3

After that, add the sliced fruits (or raisins and dried fruits).

Step 4

Finally, pour the egg mixture over everything again.

Step 5

Let the bread soak for a few minutes and then place it in a preheated oven at 355°F for about 40-50 minutes. It is best to bake it in a water bath by placing the pudding dish in a larger dish filled with water.
