Ingredients

  • Clarified Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Stale Bread 1 piece
  • Milk 10 fl oz
  • Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Chocolate eggs 3 pieces
  • Ground Cinnamon to taste
  • Frozen black currant puree 5 oz
  • Powdered Sugar 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Cut the crustless bread into pieces, place them in a pot, add the butter, pour in the hot milk, cover tightly with a lid, place on low heat, and warm for a few minutes. Mix the resulting mass well, add the eggs whipped with sugar and cinnamon, and mix again.

Step 2

Spread half of this batter into a greased pan, distribute the currants on top, sprinkle with sugar, and layer the remaining batter on top.

Step 3

Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C.

Step 4

Sprinkle the finished pie with powdered sugar.
