  • Poultry 5 lbs
  • Onion 2 pieces
  • Black Pomegranate Molasses 10 fl oz
  • Tomatoes 4 pieces
  • Cilantro 1 bunch
  • Parsley 1 bunch
  • Dill 1 bunch
  • Dried Rosemary 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic 5 cloves
  • Saffron a pinch
  • Red Long Chili Peppers to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Adjika 1 tablespoon
  • Tkemali (plum sauce) 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Boil the chicken. Remove it and let it cool. Separate the meat from the bones (you can leave it on the bones, but it's easier without them), and cut into random pieces.

Step 2

Finely chop the onion and sauté it in butter. When it turns golden, add the pieces of chicken and sauté together for about ten minutes.

Step 3

At the same time, stew the finely chopped tomatoes with spices, herbs, pomegranate juice, sauces (if you are adding them), and minced garlic.

Step 4

After that, add all the ingredients to the broth, bring to a boil, and season with more salt or spices if necessary.
