Description

Boiled Easter Pudding

Ingredients

  • Cottage cheese 0 lbs
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sour Cream 15 oz
  • Sugar 10 oz
  • Almond 5 oz
  • Vanilla salt to taste
  • Raisins 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 6 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Pass the rich cottage cheese, preferably homemade, through a sieve. Beat the eggs with sugar, then combine the cottage cheese, softened butter, the egg-sugar mixture, and fresh sour cream. Mix everything together and place it over low heat. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spatula.

Step 2

Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool while stirring. Rinse the raisins and dry them with a towel. Blanch the nuts in boiling water and remove their skins.

Step 3

Add raisins, nuts, and vanilla sugar to the cooled cottage cheese mixture, and mix well.

Step 4

Line a mold for the Easter cheese dessert with clean cheesecloth, fill it tightly with the curd mixture, place a weight on top, and refrigerate for 24 hours.

Step 5

Remove the chilled and set Easter cake from the mold, take off the cheesecloth, and place it on a serving plate. Decorate to taste.
